EarlyWorks is a new Teacher Training Institute chartered by St. Columba’s Nursery School. EarlyWorks provides continuing education for early
childhood educators, caregivers, and child advocates in the Washington Metropolitan area to share ideas and grow professionally. EarlyWorks
guides teachers, child-care providers and parents toward inclusive atmospheres, positive discipline and developmentally-appropriate
classroom designs. The outcome is learning environments in homes and
schools that optimize the unique capacity of each child to grow and learn.

EarlyWorks courses emphasize hands-on activities, lively discussions,
and up-to-date materials. Since we all learn best by doing, participants
share in activities that children do best: singing, laughing, sharing, trying,
climbing, balancing, succeeding, and repeating!
Join EarlyWorks for classes, workshops or partnerships to explore strategies for success in all aspects of child care and professional development.
